One of the things that excited us the most was Ryan's mission call.  He is now serving In the Colombia Bogata Mission.  He entered the MTC on Dec. 28, 2011.  Troy and the kids were here for Christmas Eve so we got to spend some time with him before he left.
Jeff and Kim separated in September and I really thought life would never get back to normal.  It was a really difficult time.  But at the same time I was counting my blessings and finding things to be grateful for.
Brad came across some really old photos of Orlands 4th Street and Walker Street...circa 1940s.  He also had a book about Orland from the Historical Society.  Jeff and I decided to drive around Orland and take some pictures of these same sites in 2011.  Here's what I did with those photos.
Here are some grandkid pages from 2011

Check it out...the price of gas (non-leaded) on 4/11/2011 was $4.11.
On Mother's Day 2011 I rode over to Nice with Brad to pick up Tyeler and Paige.  This was the first time in more than 2 years that I made that trip.  It was also the first time I saw the Elk that roam the Hills just before you get to Clear Lake Oaks.

Brad officially retired in January 2011 although his last day ot Manville was in October 2010.  These are some typical sights in the cold months.  LOL!!
